Abstract
Air Conditioning System is one of the systems on the aircraft that are working to maintain temperature in the cabin. The importance of air conditioning systems on aircraft is a matter of concern during maintenance. One of the problems in the air conditioning system is that the temperature in the cabin is more than the temperature limit that has been set. Therefore, checking the component is the first step to do in order to determine the trouble. The first step to solving the trouble is by running test on the temperature control valve, such as a switch test, insulation resistance test, grounding resistance test, leakage on the body assembly test, and checking the motor. After that, mechanics repair the component according to the trouble that obtained. Then do the test again to make sure there is no trouble on the component. After solving the troubles in this component such as repair body assembly, repair switch, repair motor, and after do the final test, this component have been completed in the stage of repair. Finally the component is ready to be re-install on the aircraft.
