Abstract

Batching Plant PT. Holcim Indonesia, Tbk. Cilacap Plant is a Make To Order (MTO) company that produces ready-mix concrete. The focus of the improvements aimed at this study is to reduce rework and the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value and increase the Sigma Level value in order to achieve consumer satisfaction. Improvements are made using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) method. The most dominant types of critical to quality (CTQ) in the production process are dirty materials and material composition. The Sigma Level value from the initial process, namely, the dirty material process has a sigma value of 2.83, and the material composition has a sigma of 2.65. Analysis and corrective actions are carried out for all causes of defects in the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) document. Implementation of improvements causes the sigma value in the dirty material process to increase from 2.83 to 3.40, and the material composition from 2.65 to 3.55.
