Abstract

Noise according to the Decree of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia No. PER.13/MEN/X/2011 is 85 dBA. There are areas that have noise levels that exceed the threshold. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there are several problems that cause noise that exceeds the threshold. For companies, it is recommended to pay more attention to maintenance and use machines according to the specified capacity. In addition, companies should replace old machines to reduce noise in the work area, and for employees to be more obedient in using ear protection. Production machines are the main source of noise in the production process of PT Holcim Tbk. Noise exposure has an effect on workers' hearing and non-hearing, one of which is physiological changes such as increased blood pressure. This study is an observational analytical study with a Cross Sectional study. Data collection was carried out using an avo meter. There are 6 main sources of noise in the production process of PT Holcim Tbk. The results of the study showed that the intensity of noise in several production areas had noise levels exceeding the noise threshold.
