Abstract

To produce a cast concrete product that has high reliability, the production machine used must be in good condition. PT. HOLCIM Tbk in every production process is assisted by a batching plant machine, the machine greatly influences the production process. There is no good maintenance system for the maintenance of the machine, resulting in the production process being less stable in achieving the specified time target. Based on the calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the Batching plant machine, a large OEE value is produced each month. It can be seen that there is an average availability ratio value of 97.28%, the world class availability standard is 90.0% so the availability ratio is above standard. The average performance ratio is 59.38%, the world class performance standard is 95.0%, for the performance ratio it is still below standard. And the result of the product quality rate is 94.67%, for the world quality standard it is 99.9% so the product quality is still below standard. For the average OEE value, it is 54.40%. The world class overall equipment effectiveness standard requires an OEE value of > 85%, so the OEE from the calculation results does not meet the requirements. The improvements made based on the world class standard are to increase the performance ratio and rate of quality product because the performance ratio is <95.0% and the rate of quality product is <99.9%. From the calculation results, the cause of the low OEE value is due to the small number of production processes or production results do not match the capacity of the production machine.
