Abstract

Climate and weather changes cause changes in the seasons to be uncertain, such as the dynamism of the transition, so the surrounding natural conditions cannot be determined anymore with only visible visions. The development of technology that is increasingly advanced makes the concept of IoT (Internet of Thing) not just a mere dream. The IoT concept allows us to connect a device with other devices through internet connectivity to exchange data and so on. Water level monitoring systems and water flow velocities require an ultrasonic sensor and water flow sensor. Control of the monitoring system is controlled through the web that is operated by NodeMCU as a microcontroller and in its connectivity is assisted by wifi. This system is designed to determine the level of water and the speed of the flow of water in the Code river in realtime which is expected to help in providing information to the public and related agencies regarding water level data and the speed of water flow. From the results of the study of water level monitoring system using ultrasonic sensors as a water level detector that is only able to detect a maximum water level of 20 cm with an average error of 0.007%. The error value is a comparison between the ultrasonic sensor and the manual height. And the water flow sensor as a detector of water flow velocity is only able to detect a maximum water flow rate of 36 liters / minute in the river code with an average error of 1.51%. Error value is a comparison between the water flow sensor by calculating the speed of a banana tree trunk that flows through a stream using a manual meter.
