Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify the thrust the thrust on the motor propeller engine brushless modification at the aeromodelling aircraft with the angel variations of (8x6),(8x7),(8x7,5) compared to the factory mode (8x6). The propellers designed to be used on the motorcycles made with size of 31x11inch and the materials used were composit materials. From thrust, torque and efficiency analysis, the propeller design was compared with different size of propeller (30x12 and 32x10) with the same rpm of 6648 rpm and with the paramotor speed assumed 5,2 m/s the result was that the propeller ranges were between the propeller benchmarking (30x12 and 32x12). This experiment was carried out using an aeromodelling plane that was conducted at a Madukismo with a tachometer to extract rpm and a throttle to regulate the propeller speed. While the scales to the thrust were generated by the propeller. The effect on the (8x6),(8x7),(8x7,5) blade propeller angle was the bigger the blade angle, the thrust got bigger too. The thrust propeller of (8x6) manufacture generated 7197 rpm rotation and gained thrust of 3,78 N and obtained the following comparison. The 8x6 redesign propeller generated rotation at 6036 rpm and got the thrust of 2,65 N while the efficiency of the 8x6 manufacture propeller got 83% efficiency, 8x6 redesign propeller got 49% efficiency, 8x7 redesign propeller got 42% efficiency, and 8x7.5 redesign propeller got efficiency of 32%.
