Abstract

The need to organize photos at the shooting time makes some people have to create a group photos on android manually. Therefore, people need an application that can organize the result of photo shoot, and be able to provide information needed by the user. For the we need an application that be able to create a group photos automatically based on location. By utilizing GPS (Global Positioning System) technology found on Android Smartphones, the receiver has coordinate position data with sufficient accuracy. The camera function as capturing photos and with the command code will create folder and subfolders that match the user’s location when photo shoot. The folder and subfolder names will be the same as the user’s location when photo shoot. From the test results it was concluded that android smartphone tracking application can run well when used on android version 4.0 and above.
