Abstract

This final paper discusses Steganography which will then be implemented into a programming language that is Java to be used as an application that is useful as data security. The method used in this application is the LSB (Least Significant Bit) Method. This method is a method commonly used in a Steganography application. The message you want to protect will be inserted into an image / Cover Image, audio, or video. From the results of this study obtained several tests, namely, testing the operating system of this application will use a minimum Android version of Gingerbread with API level 2.3, whereas in testing the function of the application runs well on all testing media, while testing the application file only digital files can be inserted signature, namely audio, video and image files.
