Abstract

This study aims to design/model a tracer study system using object-oriented design and build an online system integrated with DIKTI data so that it can be used by the Adisutjipto Technology College Campus in Yogyakarta to facilitate the tracer study system for: (i) the interests of evaluating competency achievements, studies of outcomes excellence which include the excellence of the Adisutjipto Technology College Campus in Yogyakarta and the excellence of the Department; (ii) the interests of the ongoing evaluation process of the curriculum, co-curricular and extra-curricular as well as academic development activities both at the college and Department levels; (iii) accreditation interests, especially BAN PT and PDPT. The system development model used in this study uses Rapid Application Development with consideration of the minimal time and professional staff needed, thereby reducing operational costs. From the results of the design and creation of the online tracer study system, it can be concluded that: 1. The system can be used to manage the results of tracer studies conducted online well because the data is centralized on one server and can be searched easily when needed. 2. The system can facilitate alumni to provide information about alumni concerned to the Adisutjipto Yogyakarta Technology College Campus so that the data can then become very valuable data to determine policies that will be taken by management in order to improve the quality of graduates.
