Abstract

Drone is one of the advanced technology in the form of aerial vehicles. The shape resembles an airplane or a helicopter that can be controlled by remote control. Drone controlled using the remote has limited signal. Signals are obtained from WI-FI network that fly drones limited distance range. The internet service from the telecommunications provider can not be utilized by the drones because the drones facilities can not be connected to the network. So that GPS data can be retrieved and sent through the Internet, this research drones will fly smartphone has GPS facility that is used to transmit data to a web server and display it on the web. The results showed that the coordinates or location on a smartphone flown by drone successfully transmit data latitude and longitude through the Internet and displays them in the form of Maps on the web.
