Abstract
Air Conditioning System on B737-NG aircraft is a system that is used to supply air temperature for the convenience of passengers and crew, both on land and on flight. Therefore the maintenance of components in this system is very important. But in fact, based on the 2015 unscheduled component removal data, pack valves that function to control air flow (bleed water) in pneumatically driven air conditioning systems often fail. Therefore it is necessary to do an analysis of reliability of these components with the aim to determine the failure rate along with usage and the Mean Time to Failure a component works according to its function. So that in the end, what kind of treatment action is appropriate for the component. Weibull distribution method is one method that is often used to analyze a system or component based on failure data on the component. The main purpose of this method is to determine the level of reliability, failure rate and the average time of a component to function properly. The shape parameter (β) that is used to find out what maintenance action is right to be carried out on the pack valve component in this study. Based on the calculation results obtained the value of β = 3.447737016. If it is related to the existing parameters it is included in the category of wear out with a value of β> 1. For the failure rate, it is known that failure rate increases with increasing hours of use. As well as known the value of Mean Time to Failure where the component will function until it has a failure of 4535 hours. Therefore, the right type of maintenance measures for pack valve components is preventive maintenance which requires replacement of components before the age of the components runs out
