Abstract

The new airport candidate in Kulon Progo Regency was built as a replacement for Adisutjipto International Airport in Yogyakarta. This airport is located in Temon District, Kulonprogo Regency. This airport is planned to be able to support the operation of wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 747-400 and its class. Because it is planned for large-scale airport operations, a figure is needed for the number of aircraft movements in 2030 using the regression method and airside characteristics to support the operation of wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 747-400. In this study, the determination of the regression calculation factor for aircraft movements in 2030 uses the number of previous aircraft movements from 2011 to 2015. From the results of the regression calculation using the previous aircraft movement data variable, the number of aircraft movements in 2030 will be obtained. For the airside calculation, the aspects calculated are the length and width of the runway and taxiway. In addition, this study also calculated the apron area and parking stand capacity designed for the Boeing 747-400 wide body aircraft. From the calculation results, the number of aircraft movements in 2030 was 145,360 with a peak hour of 26 aircraft movements. For the characteristics of the runway length and width are 3500 meters and 45 meters because the classification of the Boeing 747-400 aircraft is in the class 4E aircraft category. For the characteristics of the taxiway width 23 meters. For the length and width of the apron are 648.5 meters and 134.1 meters with a total of 15 parking stands.
