Abstract

Juanda International Airport is one of the airports with high flight frequencies. With the need for dense flight operations, the permitted aircraft load capacity and runway strength in receiving aircraft loads during takeoff and landing. Therefore, this study focuses on the analysis of aircraft operational weight against the runway strength capability at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya using the ACN - PCN calculation. In the analysis of the maximum operational weight limited by PCN, the maximum value permitted at the airport is obtained with runway strength limitations according to the type and type of aircraft. Furthermore, in the analysis of the aircraft load capacity according to the aircraft structure weight and the amount of fuel carried on its flight mission so that the flight can carry an optimal load or not. With the results of the analysis and data obtained, the amount of load received by the runway with the calculation of its load with a time of 30 minutes so that the maximum load penetration and minimum load on the runway are obtained. The results obtained from the runway strength analysis were obtained for all types and types of aircraft according to flight operations at Juanda Airport, which can use the maximum takeoff mass value that has been set in the Jeppesen ACN Table. In the analysis of flight load capacity and runway strength, it is known that Lion Air flights on the Surabaya (SUB) to Jakarta (CGK) route have the most optimal load capacity of 97%. While the highest runway loading penetration occurs at 06:30-07:00 at 86%.
