Abstract

The current machinery industry is required to produce cheaper, more precise and faster production times, especially in the aerospace industry in the production of unmanned aircraft or what is often referred to as PUNA aircraft, which requires precise components to improve the quality of the aircraft itself. Therefore, the need for Computer Numerical Control CNC machines is currently felt very necessary, CNC machines are more reliable because they have better productivity and production quality. This CNC Retrofit 3 exis machine is a machine tool that works 3 axes X, Y and Z. This machine will work according to the drawing pattern of the workpiece that is made and is equipped with a control system.Through this research, the percentage error value will be obtained so that it is known the accuracy value between the design and the results of the CNC pattern molding machine process. The workpiece used is the wing pattern moulding micro PUNA WASP III BATMAV. The analytical method used is to measure the results of the molding pattern using a caliper number with an accuracy of 0.01mm, by dividing the selection wing into 13 selections. The average value of the error pattern molding chord for the right wing is 0.0139 mm, and the left wing is 0.069 mm, and the thickness of the right wing is 0.0535 mm ,and the left wing is 0.0045 mm. This value is the expected value because the error value between the design and measurement values does not exceed 1 mm. for the accuracy value between the design and the product, the right wing chord is 99.98%, the left wing is 99.93%, while for the thickness of the right wing is 99.95%, the left wing is 99.99%, this accuracy value is high because the manufacture has been assisted with computer technology so that the output made will match the input. which is desired. Thats why a retrofit CNC machine is more precise than a manual milling machine that doesn't use a computer
