Abstract
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle UA) is a type of aircraft that uses remote control and functionalized to flying missions at certain altitudes. Due to the steps that have not been carried out in the design of the UAV V Sky 14 and the importance of the various stages that need to be carried out in designing a UAV, one of the initial design processes was chosen, namely calculating the range and endurance of the UAV V Sky 14. The subject of this research is UAV V Sky 14 which has VTOL capability and battery powered. The calculation of parameters is carried out using the theory for electric powered UAVs equation approach and focuses on the condition of analytical calculation as well as real in the field. Based on the results of calculations on both parameters, it can be seen that the analytical value of range and endurance were 48.240 and 8.207,19 . In addition, the value of range and endurance were also obtained based on the calculation of data from direct testing in the field where the value of each parameter is 1.136,025 and 306 with an average speed of 3,7125.
