Abstract
The Yogyakarta silver entrepreneur production cooperative is a company engaged in the craft industry, whose main activity is producing such as miniatures and wall decorations made of silver. The Yogyakarta silver entrepreneur production cooperative in procuring its raw materials is uncertain because of the demand for sizes and types of products by consumers which always vary and the lead time for ordering some raw materials which takes one week. The varying demand for the number of products and lead times can provide variations in the costs that must be incurred by the company in each order of raw materials. The purpose of this study is to provide a proposal for inventory control, namely determining the ordering of economical raw materials and minimizing total costs. This study uses the Weighted Moving Average forecasting method in determining the production plan for silver crafts for the next year and uses the Probabilistic EOQ method to determine the economical ordering of raw materials for silver crafts. From the research results, the total savings in inventory costs from the raw materials of pure silver, copper, brass and aluminum used amounted to Rp 40,183,958,-/year.
