Abstract
At PT. Indonesia Power (IP), occupational health and safety policies are combined with the environment and are known as K3L (Occupational Health and Safety and Environment) because this policy is intended not only to prevent accidents but also to prevent environmental impacts that can result in casualties and losses. The study aims to determine and improve the quality of the Company in improving Occupational Health and Safety, which can later be used at PT. Indonesia Power so that high work productivity will be achieved to support the implementation of national development. In this study, the author uses the gap analysis method to determine the level of achievement of the implementation of K3 indicators. And after calculating the gap, the author then uses a Cartesian diagram to see each indicator in the quadrant. The results of the gap calculation show that each indicator still has a gap, including: (1) K3 Education and Training has a gap of -0.30, (2) K3 Publication has a gap of -0.24, (3) Work Environment Control has a gap of -0.40, (4) K3 Insight and Discipline has a gap of -0.37 and, (5) Increasing K3 Awareness has a gap of -0.30. Meanwhile, based on the Cartesian diagram, the indicators (1) K3 Education and Training (2) K3 Publication (3) Work Environment Control are in quadrant 2, which means that the indicators have been implemented well. And the indicators (4) K3 Insight and Discipline (5) Increasing K3 Awareness are in quadrant 3, which means that the indicators are not optimal and their implementation must be improved. Based on the results of the gap calculation and the Cartesian diagram, all of these indicators have been implemented well and PT. Indonesia Power needs to maintain the implementation of indicators that have been implemented well and also make improvements and increase the performance of indicators that are considered less than optimal in their implementation.
