Abstract
In bamboo handicraft industry, industry players must know the quality of bamboo that will be used as a raw material for crafts that can be seen from the level of humidity. Measurement of bamboo moisture still uses the taste senses. According to these problem, a system is designed that can assist in measuring the moisture level of bamboo that will be used as a raw material for crafting. The development of this system uses Arduino Pro Mini as has processor and a DHT22 sensor for measuring bamboo moisture. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the bamboo moisture meter can determine the level of quality of bamboo moisture. The best bamboo as a handicraft is valued at 19.5% to 22,49%. To get the moisture values can be done by drying bamboo for three to four days with sunny discontent. The average error measurement using a DHT22 of 1,214%.
