Abstract
The proximity sensor is an electronic component On the condition and No Go item, which means this electronic component will be replaced when experiencing failure and is a component that determines whether the aircraft can depart or not. It will be very fatal when proximity sensor on Landing gear does not work properly as the function. The method used to overcome the failure proximity sensor Downlock on landing gear is done BITE test and do a check on a possible cause. The troubleshooting steps in the proximity sensor are then The fault of the nose landing gear proximity sensor is handled by the replacement of the proximity sensor component with the new Proximity sensor component. Then the BITE test is done to make sure the sensor can work properly again. The indication of the component can work well back i.e. when the BITE test results display a "test OK" message.
