Abstract

Mechanical flap control system is a part of mechanical components that regulate flap movement mechanically. When performing the Functional Test, it was found that the flap was not operating with Electric and Hydarulic supplied, which may have a problem in the Flap power unit component that was experiencing problems. Therefore, repairs to the flap power unit need to be done. In the process of troubleshooting a mechanical flap control system, one problem was found and after troubleshooting MSG-3, two causes were found in the components of the flap power unit, namely the Spool Valve and the hydraulic return channel filter. In the repair procedure of the problems that occur in the mechanical flap control system on the CN-235-220 aircraft is to replace parts that have damage to the spring and filter
