Abstract
High pressure turbine (HPT) nozzle is a part that serves to activate hot air from the combustion chamber, so that this hot air can be received optimally by the turbine blade. High pressure turbine (HPT) is one important part of the engine and one of the hottest parts of the engine, the temperature reaches 1700oC to 1900oC. If damage occurs like a crack on a high pressure turbine nozzle then engine vibration. In this study using visual inspections research method that uses a tool called boroscope. Borescope activity is an inspection that uses a small objective lens and then connected to the monitor. Damage that occurs in the high pressure turbine nozzle is crack, but the crack that occurs is still below the specified limits, with reference to the engine shop manual (ESM) CFM56-7B engine. So the results can be taken that the high pressure turbine (HPT) nozzle is declared serviceable.
