Abstract

Hydraulic system in an airplane or hydraulic power is a system that uses liquid fluid pressure. The hydraulic system applied on the aircraft has the advantage of facilitating the work of pilots to operate aircraft landing gear systems such as retract and extend, damage to the hydraulic system generally occurs in the hydraulic pump, so that it can cause a lack of pressure on the pump when operating the landing gear hydraulic system. At the time of retract it takes 13 seconds, while to extend takes 9 seconds. This is incompatible with the AMM Boeing 737 NG which is 6-7 seconds. So it is necessary to do an inspection with the method of checking the age of components, damage history and visual observation The results of the inspection found that the transfer cylinder had a leak in the nut valve. So that according to the AMM Boeing 737 NG nut valve must be replaced with a new one, after a re-check no leak was found
