Abstract

Low agent indicating light on a DC-9 aircraft is a component on the aircraft that serves to give an indication if there is a pressure drop reaching 275 psi on the fire extinguisher container, which is indicated by the lights in the upper instrument panel in the flight compartment and APU ground fire control panel.Low agent indicating light is included in the no go item component, ie if a system is not serviceable, the aircraft is not allowed to fly, meaning the system must be repaired as soon as possible. When checking that there is a failure on the low agent light, it must be checked to determine the damage. If the damage is low agent indicating the light does not work even though the pressure on the container is below 275, then check the bulb, the switch on the pressure gage and the cable or wire. If damage to the component is unserviceable, do a replacement. The result is replacing the cable. Then do the test again to ensure that the low agent indicating light is in normal condition.
