Abstract
The air cycle system is an important component of aircraft which serves to provide comfort for the crew and passengers. However, the air cycle system can also suffer damage such as not being able to give the temperature in the cabin in accordance with the desired temperature. The process of repairing the air cycle system, must be tested on each component. So that it was found that the water separator was damaged in the coalescer bag which made the temperature in the cabin 28 °C so it was not in accordance with the provisions in AMM chapter 21 air conditioning, ie temperatures 16 °C to 19 °C. How to fix it was washing using detergent. after cleaning the coalescer bag in water separator produces a pressure air temperature in cabin 16 to 19 ° C. This indicates that the components and the system are good so that it can be reused.
