Abstract

Technological developments can be used as support in developing innovative learning, one of which is using simulation as an interactive learning medium. The result of this final project is an Android and Desktop based avionics component maintenance learning module simulator which contains material on the introduction, disassembly and assembly of avionics components on SSCVR PN. 980-6022-001 and Aircraft Battery PN. 405CH which aims to help the learning process at the Avionics Shop PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk. The simulator was built using Unity 3D and asset modeling using Blender. Simulator testing includes functionality testing and feasibility testing by experts as a validation and verification process regarding assessment criteria. The results of the functionality test state that all functions and buttons in the simulator can function properly according to their function. The results of the feasibility test obtained an average score of 90.4 which is included in the "Very Good" category and it is stated that the simulator has met the needs underlying the design of the simulator, meets the needs of all interested parties, and can be run well on several different platforms.
