Abstract
An aircraft is a transportation tool that is sensitive to be error and damage. Safe flight operations start from aircraft maintenance that is guarenteed and in accordance with procedures. One type of metal used on aircraft is aluminium. Aluminium is a light weight metal. Aluminium and its alloys have good corrosion resistance. The results showed an anxiation of 7075-T651 material with the of current using 1.5A 5% sulfuric acid mixture and anodizing time for 20 minutes got weight reduction of 7,932 mpy. In 1,5 speciment, 10% sulfuric acid mixture and anodizing time for 20 minutes experienced a weight reduction of 5.108 mpy, and at 1,5A 20% sulfuric acid mixture obtained the smallest corrosion result as 2.280 mpy.
