Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of blade bend angle variations on the performance of undershot waterwheel and to determine the effect of bend angle variations of 180o , 160o , 140o , and 120o to the input power, output power, windmill rotation, torque, and efficiency. The research was started by making the blades and undershot waterwheel with bend angle variations which were then connected to a generator so that it can produce the electrical power. The results showed that the performance produced by undershot waterwheel is grether as the bend angle getting smaller. It can be concluded that the blade performance with ending angle of 120o was better than the blade with angle of 180o . The value of rotating speed, output power, efficiency, torque were increased. On the other hand the input power was varied due to the unstable rate of water velocity.
