Abstract
The N219 nurtanio aircraft is a highly effective aircraft with a capacity of 19 passengers for inter-island transportation modes to grow the national economy. The security and comfort aspects are important aspects for the air conditioning system. With the increasing altitude of the aircraft, the pressure and temperature around the aircraft will be lower so that the reforestation system that meets the requirements for conditions at sea level and maximum cruising height is needed. The increase in temperature in the cabin is heat released by passengers, solar radiation, electrical and electronic devices used on aircraft. Therefore, the cooling load on the N219 aircraft needs to be analyzed and calculated so that it can be seen the load borne by the two N219 nurturing aircraft cooling machines with a capacity of 19 passengers with 2 different conditions, namely idle ground conditions and maximum cruise. The purpose of the research was calculating the cooling load on ground and at the maximum cruise. The method used was the CLTD (cooling load temperature difference) method based on the book and table air conditioning conditions and systems. The total calculation results was theoretically obtained when the load at idle ground was 12311,681 and Maximum Cruise was -3357,819 . So that the cooling load when the ground is greater than the maximum cruise
