Abstract
Agricultural land is a very large area, there are many various kinds of problems, one of the serious problems is the attack of bird-pests in group, until now the problem has not received the optimal solution. As a result of bird-pest attack, there are many farmers who lose their millet because they do not get the maximum results, one of the most common bird species which causes loss is sparrow (Lonchura sp). Therefore, this scientific paper discusses the design of unmanned aircraft which have a special mission to control bird-pest. This scientific paper is concentrated for discussing design unmanned aircraft alike black eagle (Ictinaetus Malaiensis) with the name EAGLE-X. The EAGLE-X will fly 7 meters above the surface of Yogyakarta (120 masl) with a cruising speed of 10 m/s to fulfill the mission of the EAGLE-X. The EAGLE-X was made by CATIA V5R20 and was tested characteristics of aerodynamic by ANSYS 15.0. The results of the design EAGLE-X are 1,48 meters of wing span, 0,65 meters of length and 1 kg of total weight with 3˚ of angle of incidence to ensure EAGLE-X has achieved the lift force. At 0˚ angle of attack, EAGLE-X has lift coefficient and drag coefficient value of 0,51928 and 0,06361.
