xvii ANALYSIS OF NEEDS FOR AIR CONDITIONING SPARE PARTS CITILINK AIRBUS A320-200 AIRCRAFT SYSTEM PER YEAR USING THE AIRBUS MATHEMATICAL MODEL IN BASE MAINTENANCE PT GMF AERO ASIA Tbk By: Dionysius Pandhu Satianto NIM: 14050040 ABSTRACT Airlines want fast and reliable aircraft maintenance appropriate so that the aircraft can operate properly and safely according to standards. When carrying out maintenance, there are times when replacement spare parts are needed, so that spare part inventory is an important factor in aircraft maintenance so that maintenance activities can be carried out appropriately time according to schedule. Therefore, by fulfilling the need for spares parts, then aircraft maintenance will proceed according to plan and an airline's operations can also be fulfilled. This research aims to know the process and results of calculating spare part requirements and duration spare part ordering time using the Airbus method. Mathematical Model is a method for calculating spare part requirements issued by Airbus. This method consists of calculating needs spare parts per year, calculation of re-supply time or duration of spare orders parts and spare part requirements during re-supply time. The calculation results using this method is then compared with planning data existing needs in GMF. Actual needs in GMF are the benchmark make a comparison, so that the difference value in percentage is obtained between the two and which method is considered better to accommodate actual needs at GMF. The research results show that the annual need for Air Conditioning System spare parts for Airbus A320-200 Citilink are as many as 640 items. Time to reorder spare parts is 6 types of spare parts takes 25 days, 9 types of spare parts take time for 75 days, and 91 types of spare parts take 26 to 70 days day. The number of spare parts needed during reordering is 124 items. It can also be concluded that the calculation of spare part requirements using the Airbus Mathematical Model can better accommodate needs actual spare parts at GMF compared with the current method used by GMF because it produces a greater stock value.
