Abstract

Air condition system of aircraft is one of important aspects in convenience when make to flight. This is related to temperature that can affect a pilot physically and mental during the flight or while on the ground. Therefore the air condition system must be always maintained his condition to always be in good condition and nothing problem when make to flight. Based on information from mechanics, aircraft KT-1B have some problem related the air condition system, where the cooling fan does not function which ceuses the air in the cabin to feel hot. From this subject author analyzes the level of reliability of cooling fan component at the time of failure, where the purpose of the analysis to determined the appropriate maintenance of the cooling fan component. Data collection method based on aircraft KT-1B of log book maintenance that is by using Weibull DR-21 software and using several parameters along based on input data which referring to existing references. The result of the calculation by using Weibull DR-21 software obtain several output data that is the value of the failure rate on the cooling fan component is 0,0101 with a constant failure rate. Based on this, the failure of the cooling fan component included in the phase of random failure with the type of degradation delayed. Where for the level of reliability in the cooling fan component is decline with MTTF value 96,12 hours. As for the maintenance policy carried out based on condition.
