Abstract
The reservoir pressurization system is a system that functions to process and flow the air pressure that will be used by hydraulic fluid in the reservoir so that it can flow to the hydraulic pump. This system can be damaged resulting in reduced air pressure in the reservoir. This can result in hydraulic fluid in the reservoir unable to flow to the hydraulic pump. The research process begins with a literacy study regarding the reservoir pressurization system on the Airbus A320 aircraft both from observation and the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM). Then proceed with conducting research on the Airbus A320 aircraft which is experiencing an overhaul. The first check was carried out on ECAM which showed that the air pressure in the reservoir had decreased. After that, check the air pressure source, namely high pressure compressor engine one and pneumatic system engine two. After checking the source and not finding any failures, the check is carried out on the reservoir pressurization component. According to the Airbus A320 Trouble Shouting Manual, if the air pressure at the pressure gage is less than 50 psi it is necessary to check the check valve and relief valve. The result of this check was that the check valve was damaged and the component had to be repaired. Repairs made are by replacing these components. After replacing the check valve component, the reservoir pressurization system, the air pressure entering the reservoir returns to normal.
