Abstract

n an organization or company there must be a router device to form a communication between networks. Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) routing is very suitable for use on routers in organizations or companies in forming a communication between other routers, because it can divide a large network into several areas. The single area OSPF routing configuration on the Cisco 2800 router is still command line based and cannot be accessed remotely, this makes administrators always have to deal directly with the device when configuring single area OSPF routing. The Web-based single area OSPF routing configuration is made with the aim of helping administrators issue a single area OSPF routing configuration. The Web-based single area OSPF routing configuration utilizes the Cisco Application Programming Interface (API) as a link between the Cisco 2800 router and the programming language in the Web- based single area OSPF routing configuration. Telnet was created to provide convenience or provide wider access to administrators in processing routers remotely by visiting the IP address of the router that has been determined at the time of making Telnet. The results of the test prove that the Web-based single area OSPF routing configuration can be used for configuration and can make it easier for administrators to configure sngle area OSPF routing
