Abstract

In this chapter the problems faced by AA Bere Tallo Airport when landing the PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator) light unit which is used to give an indication to aircraft have not been realized by ATC (4ir Traffic Control), so they do not know the PAPI. functioning properly or experiencing problems. A tool for design of papi ( precission approach path indicator ) lamp monitor device with current sensor and wireless delivery. ACS712 current sensor to detect current This tool can be used to determine whether the PAPI system can function properly. The tool that has been made consists of several components, namely the ACS712 Arduino nano current sensor, lights, relays, nRF24L01 Module, Arduino LCD as the main control on this tool to process data from the ACS712 current sensor then the results will be displayed on the LCD and will also be sent by the nRF24L01 module. to ATC. Based on the results of tests carried out three times the ACS712 current sensor and the nRF24L01 module, it was found that the difference in the average error value was 1,4 %.
