Abstract

Aviation safety is a state of fulfillment of requirements safety in the use of airspace, aircraft, airports, air navigation as well as supporting facilities and other public facilities. To achieve safety flights, then a person responsible for carrying out service activities is formed flight operations, monitoring aircraft movements, vehicle traffic, people and goods, cleanliness on the air side, as well as recording and flying which is called Apron Movement Control (AMC). This research aims to determine the level of workload mental based on classification of respondents, indicators and also based on characteristics research subjects such as age, years of service and positions held by AMC personnel at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport - Bali, which is the wrong airport one of the busiest airports on an international scale which contains complex air traffic, good from within the country and from abroad. The process carried out was to measure the overall mental workload of the six subscales, namely mental needs, physical needs, time needs, performance, frustration, and The business uses the NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) method where the steps are necessary carried out are such as giving weights, giving ratings, calculating product value, calculating weighted workload, calculating average WWL, and interpreting scores for determine the level of mental workload experienced by AMC personnel. Based on research conducted, the ranking of workload indicators starts from the highest and lowest are. 1. R14 I Made Gede Putra obtained an average score of 100 (their workload is in the very high category), 2. R24 I putu Endah S.B obtained an average score of 100 (their workload is included in the group which is very high), for the lowest, namely R1 I Nyomat Baginda, namely 63.33 and still included in the High category and R5 I putu Eka M.j, namely 58.66, is still included in the High category Based on research at the Apron Movement Control (AMC) unit Angkasa Pura 1 I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport - Bali, interpretation of calculation recapitulation The mental workload value of employees who are in the very high mental workload category totaling 18 people and 7 people high, the total number of AMC personnel is 25 people.
