Abstract

Occupational safety and health (K3) is an important aspect in any industry, especially in the aviation industry, including aircraft maintenance activities. The basis for K3 has been established in PPRI no. 50 of 2012 concerning occupational safety, health, and Law no. 1 of 1970 concerning occupational safety. The number of plane crash incidents in the period from 2010 – 2016, a total of 212 cases were investigated by the KNKT. In this research, it is known that of the 12 (twelve) dirty dozen, the one most frequently felt by aircraft mechanics is fatigue with a percentage of 16.78%. In this research the author chose to use quantitative research, one of which is quantitative association research. a type of research whose specifications are systematic, planned and structured. Fatigue that generally appears in aircraft mechanics is as follows: changing work shifts, high workload or even not doing anything because the workload is too low, long journeys from residence to work location and traffic jams during the journey. The mechanical impact of fatigue is a tendency to feel bored, less enthusiastic, less productive.
