Abstract
The building of Yogyakarta International Airport, the city's new airport, aims to achieve a number of goals, one of which is to enable the new airport to handle large-bodied aircraft. The goal of this study was to establish the airside needs for the Airbus A380-800 aircraft at Yogyakarta International Airport using the Sydney to Singapore route, in light of the Airbus A380-800 aircraft's 2012 divert landing event. The analysis is divided into stages, beginning with an examination of the Aircarft Classification Number and the Pavement Classification Number, followed by a fuel planning analysis to determine the weight of the aircraft during a divert landing, and finally an examination of the weight of the Airbus A380-800 aircraft to determine the maximum weight that can operate at Yogyakarta International Airport. given the airport's current runway length and ARFF analysis. According to the findings, the runway surface can handle the weight of an Airbus A380-800 aircraft with MTOW conditions, and the length of the runway at the airport can be used for Airbus A380-800 aircraft to take off and land with MTOW and MLW aircraft conditions, according to the analysis results. Firefighting at airports must be upgraded from category 8 to category 10 in order for the Airbus A380-800 to operate.
