The current development of the automotive industry tends to prioritize comfort and safety when driving on the road. To realize this, a very good suspension system is needed for the vehicle. The suspension system serves to dampen vibrations and dampen the shocks received by the vehicle while on the road. Due to uneven road surfaces such as potholes and bumpy roads. The vehicle suspension system is located between the body (frame) and the wheels, consisting of springs. There are several types of springs used in vehicle suspension systems, namely coil springs, leaf springs, and torsion bar springs. The purpose of this research is to find out the bending test results obtained on the imitation heat treated and original without heat treatment on the car so that it can be a reference for the automotive world and education. The bending strength test on metal per leaf which was treated without heat treatment had the higher strength value, with an average strength value of 152.81 MPa while per leaf treated with heat treatment had an average strength value of 139.88 MPa. Therefore, it can be concluded that heat treatment has not been able to affect the bending strength because it only slightly affects the constituent material. From the above results, it was concluded that metal per leaf that has been heated microscopic testing of metal per leaf obtained from the results of bending strength samples on metal per leaf that were carried out by heat treatment which showed less good, due to changes in their structure, so that Ferrite and Martensite tempers were formed less tightly and failed to spread evenly which caused martensite tempered to have less persistent and not tough.
