Abstract

Vapor compression cooling machine is the most commonly used cooling machine with refrigerant as its cooling medium. Unfortunately, refrigerant contains many dangerous compounds that can cause global warming. That conventional cooling machine now can be replacaed by thermoelectric cooler. With a more simple construction, this cooler is commonly used for small scale purposes. In this final project, the cool box was made by plastic acrylic and styrofoam. Its cooling system was made by TEC1-12706 and heatsink fan, heat pipe fan, and radiator cooling system heat dissipation. According to the experiment data and calculation result, it is known that the lowest product temperature that could be produced by this cooling system is 12,06 ℃ on RCL heat dissipation and COP is 0,21.
