Abstract
Object detection system is a tool used to detect a movement by utilizing the movement resulting from the object being monitored. One of the main components used in this tool is an ultrasonic sensor with type HC-SR04, this tool works by emitting ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 40 KHz then the ultrasonic receiver captures the results of the reflection of ultrasonic waves hitting an object. The output of this tool itself is in the form of direct telephone calls to smartphone owners. The microcontroller used in the object detection tool this time is Arduino with the Uno type. Testing on this tool is done by placing the tool in a safe to monitor the object in the safe itself. The benchmark of the tool is declared successful if there is movement of objects in the safe and then the tool makes an automatic call to the smartphone of the safe owner. The system result obtained from 30 trials been achieved with a success rate of 86,7% and the average time it takes sim800l v2 make a call is 8.21 sec.
