Abstract
Along with the turn of the year, generally there will be many changes that occur around the community, one of which is the culinary side. With today's technology, cooking can be done at home. This is an opportunity for the community in the culinary field. Ostre Mushroom Chips is a business that uses oyster mushrooms to make chips with various flavors.sales of Ostre Mushroom Chips is a problem in estimating the amount of mushroom stock that will be produced, so it is feared that the mushrooms that are overproduced will not all sell. This application is made to forecast sales using the Simple Moving Average method to get forecasting results. Forecasting results will be compared with actual data. The benefit of this application is that the owner of Ostre Mushroom Chips for forecasting results can be used as reference data so as to reduce the buildup of old stock. This application uses monthly data from all flavors used for forecasting, namely from March 2019 to June 2022. To calculate the error using the Mean Absolute Percent Error method. The results of this test get MAPE results with an average value of 10.55% original taste, barbecue taste, 13.24% cheese taste, 13.40% spicy taste with good forecasting model ability category.
