Abstract
The development of technology has helped human life in various fields. One that is developing is technology in the field of aerospace, namely rocket technology. For this reason, the rocket payload is equipped with sensors. One of the most important sensors in the rocket is the accelerometer sensor, because the sensor can detect the rocket's flight. This study aims to determine the acceleration value on the MPU-6050 accelerometer sensor used in the payload rocket. In this case, the analysis of the accuracy of the acceleration value on the MPU-6050 accelerometer sensor used in the payload rocket uses the KYL 1020 antenna. In this tool the MPU-6050 accelerometer sensor is used to read the acceleration value on the payload rocket. Then the data will be accessed by the microcontroller and the processing results will be sent to the ground station to be displayed in the visual studio using KYL 1020.The sensor data that show on visual studio will be compared with the comparison accelerometer meter sensor on the aplication cellphone to see its accuracy. It is intended for wireless monitoring of rocket attitude monitoring. The results of this study indicate that the design of the tool can work well and in accordance with the function of each component. The sensor will read every data that will be processed by the microcontroller to be sent to the earth station using KYL so that it can be displayed on the visual studio. Monitoring can be measured within 350 meters with the MPU-6050 accelerometer sensor reading the X-axis (roll) 91.89% accuracy, the Y-axis (pitch) with an accuracy of 90.35%, and the Z-axis (yaw) 93.82 %. And the average acceleration of the three axis accelerometers is 92.02%.
