Abstract

Using the Internet has become an important need for some people, in addition to being able to communicate with other users, the Internet can also be used for the Internet of Things (IoT) field, providing a smart, cost-effective system, and improving the quality of life so that IoT is one of the many networks chosen. . The author is interested in designing a Servo Motor system as a latch drive and ON-OFF Lamp that can be accessed via a Smartphone, so that the system will be more efficient if the device can be controlled by mobile. The method used is Cloud Server as cloud computing, building, storing, and sending data via the Internet which can access it through a Smartphone application that has been created in the RemoteXY editor. By pressing the button on the RemoteXY application display that has been created and when the system responds to the request from the RemoteXY application on the Smartphone and turns it into action. That is, there are two buttons that will follow up on the command according to the program, namely LOCK to lock the door, OPEN to open the latch, and the PADAM button to turn off the lights, and NYALA to turn on the lights. The design of the RemoteXY GUI editor has been successfully designed so that users can access it via the Internet, then the results of testing the average response time of the Servo Motor system and Relay system are 28 ms and 45.1 ms, while the Light Sensor is an indicator of the lamp light and infrared sensor. Red (IR) as a detecting digital sensor on the latch that opens and locks the door can work properly. With this system, users are expected to increase time efficiency.
