Abstract

One of the shortcomings of conventional radio communication systems is the lack of flexibility offered. A software-based radio communication system has been successfully developed and offers very high flexibility both in terms of function and configuration because it is software-based. One of the developments in a software-based radio communication system is Software Defined Radio (SDR). This study aims to implement SDR transceivers in the 27 MHz frequency range, and use HDSDR applications as SDR performance regulators. By using the method of literature study, consultation, and data collection from transmitters and receivers on software defined radio which is used as data for analysis in the research conducted. The results of testing the transmitter and receiver are obtained by several tests to obtain optimal results. In the receiver test it produced 3 successful data, while the transmitter produced frequencies of 27 MHz and 27,125 MHz which were used for testing. Based on this test, several sound results were obtained from different distances.
