Abstract

Increasingly advanced technology can help students to solve problems. But students have difficulty in finding the type of story. With the application of determining the type of story, it can make it easier for students to find the type of story that can be used as a reference in preparing their thesis. Making this application uses the Naïve Bayes method to study probabilities in certain groups/classes. trying to identify. The programming languages used are PHP and HTML. The purpose of this research is to determine the type of story quickly based on the synopsis included in the application. The results of the research show that the Naïve Bayes method is 100% accurate in classifying objects. Thus, this method is very suitable for classification in any field, including in this study regarding the classification of story types.
