Abstract

The application of the Matplotlib Library for Visualization of Flight Historical Statistics on Garuda Indonesia aircraft is one of the solutions to make it easier to understand flight data. In this thesis we show how to use the matplotlib library to visualize flight statistics data such as number of flights, number of fleets and passenger capacity. We collect data from the official Garuda Indonesia website and analyze it using python. After the data is processed, we create a visualization by utilizing the matlotlib library to display the data in graphical form such as bar charts. The result of this thesis is a sistem that facilitates the understanding of flight data and allows more informed decision making, this also helps Garuda Indonesia in improving flight planning and management so as to increase efficiency and satisfy customers. The results of testing the System Usability Scale to users get a score of 72.4 from general respondents and 85 from airline respondents.
