Abstract

The development of Indonesia's air service industry is growing, but there is still the fact that many airlines experience problems before and during flights. There are various problems with airlines ranging from engine problems, technical problems, tire damage, cockpit problems, to air pressure problems. Airline customers have personal considerations and preferences when choosing an airline to fly with. Many airline choices and many considerations often confuse customers. To overcome this, a decision support system SPK can be used to provide recommendations in selecting airlines according to customer choices. This research has successfully implemented the SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING SAW METHOD. In determining the most favorite airline in Indonesia based on reviews on the TripAdvisor website, using 8 criteria, namely comfort, entertainment during flight, experience on board, customer service, according to costs incurred, cleanliness, checkin and boarding, food and drinks then with 6 alternatives namely Lion Air, Batik Air, Citilink, Garuda Indonesia, Sriwijaya Air, NAM air. In calculating the weighting criteria using the SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING SAW METHOD, it shows that the price factor C5 is the most considered factor. Calculations using the SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING SAW METHOD show that Garuda Indonesia is the most favorite airline in Indonesia with a preference value of 0.51875, followed by Batik Air in second place.
