Abstract

The Central Warning System is a system that provides visual and auditory information to the pilot when there is a system failure on an aircraft. The repair and maintenance of components in the KT 1B aircraft's Central Warning System CWS have not been optimal due to the lack of adequate testing equipment. Based on this issue, a design and construction of a device was carried out to facilitate technicians, save time, and reduce operational costs. The design involves a power supply with an efficiency above 80 percent, consisting of a step down converter, voltage rectifier, voltage divider, signal amplifier, and an Arduino board. Data and information were obtained through literature studies on related research and by testing the developed system. The research results indicate that the design provides simulation of signals and voltages to the CWS, allowing the system to function similarly to the aircraft's system during a failure.
