Abstract
Software Defined Radio with a frequency of Short Wave SW 8 - 12 MHz and using a Long Wire Dipole antenna. Software Defined Radio utilizes multiband frequencies and is expected to overcome obstacles in radio communication and provide ease of use and education regarding radio communication systems. In this research, receiver and transmitter are implemented using Software Defined Radio with Long Wire Dipole Antenna to receive and send signals. Next, a calibration is performed using the High Definition Software Defined Radio application to ensure that the sound produced is clear. This research contributes to the understanding and solutions for using transceivers with SDR on High Frequency lines. Software Defined Radio can work as a transceiver using the HDSDR application so that it can make it easier for radio stations to communicate. Knowing the receiver and transmitter testing, several tests were carried out to compare the results in order to get optimal sound.
