Abstract
The evolution of life in our world has increased our need for speed, precision, and accuracy in every situation. One of them is communication technology. It is indisputable that at this time, wireless is a crucial demand for the general public. However, because technology users are becoming more mobile, itis impossible to separate the performance of wireless from antenna. An antenna isa crucial component of a communication system that transmits and receives electromagnetic signals. This study creates a dipole antenna that only operates at2.4 GHz. IEEE 802.11 b/g standard wifi technology uses a 2.4 GHz operating frequency. Based on modeling results, a dipole antenna operating at this frequency has a VSWR of 1.3859 and a return loss of -15.8326 dB.
